Order and inventory issues
Fix voucher readiness, uncertain writes, baseline blocks, and conflicts.
Order cannot be previewed
Open the order-sync readiness card and complete each Action needed item. Common causes are missing product, ledger, or location mappings; invalid unit conversion; company mismatch; or an unbalanced tax allocation.
Preview passed but nothing appears in Tally
Preview never writes. Complete the ₹1 test, enable live writes in Settings → Safety & access, and choose Sync to Tally for one controlled paid order.
Failed write says Reconcile in Tally
The import may have committed before its response was lost. Check the exact TC:<uuid> connector Reference in the original company; the
Shopify reference is retained in narration. Use the
Activity reconciliation workflow to link a verified
voucher or record confirmed absence before a fresh export. Preserve the command
ID and contact support if the result cannot be established.
Tally shows No Accounting Allocations
The Sales ledger is not configured to accept the item allocations included in the voucher. In TallyPrime open Alter Master → Ledger, select the mapped Sales ledger, press F12, set Use Inventory Allocations for Ledgers = Yes, set Inventory values are affected = Yes, and save. Restart Agent 0.5.0 or newer if needed, refresh Tally masters, and map the Sales ledger again.
Old rows under Import Exceptions remain historical failed attempts; do not judge a new test by the total failure counter. Run one fresh test and verify its newest Activity row plus the Day Book entry.
Inventory activation button is disabled
Check for exactly one godown/location mapping, current master proof, confirmed products, active baselines, no open conflicts, successful test voucher, and live writes.
Shopify inventory update was rejected
A newer Shopify change probably invalidated the compare-and-set expectation. Tally Connect opens or retains a conflict rather than overwriting the newer value.
Conflict stays in Resolving
Keep both systems available and avoid manual stock edits. If a sanitized resolution error appears, fix its cause and retry the already approved resolution. If the connector is online but progress remains stale, collect diagnostics for support.
