Getting started
Complete the safe setup path from Shopify installation to verified TallyPrime writes.
Tally Connect has two parts: an embedded Shopify app and a private Windows Agent that runs beside TallyPrime. Complete setup in this order.
Confirm requirements
Use Windows 10 or 11, keep TallyPrime available to the same Windows user, and
enable local HTTP/XML access on 127.0.0.1:9000.
Review the Shopify subscription
Open Subscription in Tally Connect, review the tier matched to your Shopify store plan, and choose every-30-day or annual billing. Approve the displayed terms on Shopify before starting sync. The Windows connector is included.

Install and pair the Windows Agent
Download the installer from Setup, create a fresh pairing code, and run the signed installer on the Tally computer.
Select the loaded Tally company
Discover companies, select the company reported by the Agent, then discover its ledgers, godowns, Stock Items, and units.
Create mappings
Map the accounting ledgers, one Shopify location to the verified Tally godown, and the products that will participate in sync.
Test before going live
Use a disposable Tally company for the required ₹1 voucher test. Return to the intended production company, re-check its identity, and explicitly enable live writes only after every safety check passes.
Do not test in production
The ₹1 setup voucher changes TallyPrime. Run it only while a disposable test company is selected.
