Location mapping

Create the mapping

1. Open Tally Connect → Mappings → Locations.
2. Select an active Shopify location.
3. Select a godown from the latest successful Tally master discovery.
4. Save the mapping.
5. Open Settings → Automation and select it as the default Shopify location.

Current inventory constraint

Tally Connect's current Tally closing-balance read is aggregate. Automatic inventory therefore requires all of these to be true:

• The latest discovery proves exactly one godown.
• Exactly one confirmed location mapping exists.
• The default Shopify location is that confirmed mapping.
• Every participating product/location baseline is verified.

If more than one location or godown participates, keep inventory automation paused.

Changing a mapping

Pause inventory first. Save the new verified relationship, then refresh and approve every affected inventory baseline. Existing open conflicts still need a deliberate resolution; a mapping change does not erase them.
