Connect TallyPrime
Pair the Agent, discover the correct company, bind it, and refresh verified masters.
Open Tally Connect → Setup and follow the five status cards.
Pair a Windows connector
Install the Agent with a fresh code. Wait for the device and Agent version to appear in Shopify Admin.
Confirm the Agent is online
Keep TallyPrime open. A stale heartbeat is treated as offline, and all Tally operations remain paused until the Agent reconnects.
Discover companies
Select Discover companies. Tally Connect lists only companies actually reported by the connected Agent.
Bind the intended company
Select the reported company and review its name, GUID, state, and optional GSTIN. Save the selection. Company identity protects every later command.
Discover Tally masters
Refresh ledgers, godowns, Stock Items, units, and product evidence. Mapping screens use these verified choices instead of accepting guessed names.
Company must remain loaded
If TallyPrime is switched to another company, writes fail closed. Load the bound company again; do not edit queued work to point at a different company.
Switching companies
Changing the bound company is protected because existing mappings and pending work belong to the old company identity. Pause automation, finish or reconcile active work, bind the new discovered company, then refresh every master and review mappings again.
Revoking a connector
Use Revoke connector access if the Windows device is retired, compromised, or being reinstalled. Revocation prevents the device from leasing new commands.
