Settings
Configure automation, inventory, and protected access to Tally writes.
Automation
- Automatically export fully paid orders — prepares eligible mapped orders automatically.
- Default Shopify location — must be selected from confirmed location mappings.
- Check Tally inventory every — accepts 60 to 3,600 seconds.
Automatic order selection and permission to write are separate. An eligible order still remains preview-only while live writes are off.
Inventory
The tab shows the current mode, active versus required baselines, and every readiness check. Use it to activate two-way inventory, pause inventory, review baselines, or manage locations.
Safety and access
Before live writes can be enabled, Tally checks:
- Agent and selected company readiness
- Fresh verified Tally masters
- Confirmed default location
- Accounting ledger mappings
- Successful ₹1 test voucher
Select Allow approved workflows to write to Tally, type ENABLE, and save.
Turning the setting off also pauses automatic two-way inventory.
Recommended change process
Pause automation, make one settings or mapping change, refresh affected evidence, preview a representative order, and then resume. This keeps the cause of any new issue easy to identify.
Agent readiness
The current application requires Agent 0.5.0 or newer before a Tally write can be leased. Shopify Sales Vouchers and Credit Notes require 0.5.1 or newer for verified delivery details. A recent heartbeat alone does not satisfy these gates. After an upgrade, confirm the reported version and refresh the relevant master evidence.
