Refund accounting is safer when the connector can prove the original Shopify order and its Tally Sales Voucher before preparing a Credit Note. Tally Connect keeps those identities linked instead of treating the refund as an unrelated negative sale.

Money is handled in integer paise. If the proposed Credit Note cannot be balanced or linked safely, the operation is blocked with a merchant-facing reason.

Uncertain outcomes

Never turn a lost response into a second Credit Note

A Credit Note may reach TallyPrime even if its response is interrupted. Automatic retry is unsafe until the destination state is known.

Tally Connect records the uncertain result, blocks another create attempt, and guides the operator to inspect TallyPrime and reconcile the evidence.
